Vitoria, 7 sep .- The Fundacion Catedral Santa Maria has organized for the third year the popular march along the road which went to Vitoria the stones for the construction of the temple, among Ajarte (Trevino County) and the Medieval Town.
On this occasion took place on 19 and 26 September and 3 October.
Cathedral stone gathers people and places as Ajarte, where, sto credits, even Olarizu Elguea and it houses the remains of these quarries.
To extract and move these stones were created villages and ways in which they moved. For Ajarte, this is a small village belonging to the County Council Trevino almost uninhabited.
The route began in Ajarte, a place where participants will learn about the particularities of the ancient quarries and mineral, craft of golds gold, resource in the restoration of monuments.
Also, coinciding with the Medieval Market welcome you to the Old Town over the weekend, on Saturday September 26 is remembered as the original so the stone was brought from Ajarte.
For this, a chariot drawn by two oxen will travel, from 12 noon, the gap between Mendiola and Plaza del Machete dragged several blocks of stone.
